SEGUIRE LIBERAMENTE DOVREBBE ESSERE LA COSA PIÙ NATURALE PER UN CAVALLO, SE HA FIDUCIA IN NOI. NON C'È NIENTE DI SPECIALE O STRAODINARIO, È UNA SEMPLICE ROUTINE.
Durante le nostre passeggiate quotidiane il cavallo e l'asino sono liberi a scegliere la posizione all'interno del gruppo. Spesso ci alterniamo, chi cammina avanti, chi si ferma per mangiare, chi rimane indietro. La posizione nella dinamica del gruppo mentre ci spostiamo ai luoghi abituali non ha niente che vedere con il fatto chi guida e chi segue. In tutti questi anni che mi muovo con loro in libertà, ho fatto l'esperienza che io, come responsabile del piccolo branco, posso tranquillamente camminare per l'ultima, senza che la mia posizione viene messo in questione. Per mettere questo alla prova, basta cambiare direzione e loro lo fanno quasi istantaneamente con me, osservandomi solo con l'angolo dell'occhio. Anche il fatto che si fermano ad un bivio per aspettare l'indicazione della direzione, mi conferma questa mia idea, che la guida non deve stare per forza in prima posizione.
FOLLOW FREELY SHOULD BE THE MOST NATURAL THING FOR A HORSE, IF HE HAS CONFIDENCE IN US. THERE IS NOTHING SPECIAL OR EXTRAORDINARY, IT IS A SIMPLE ROUTINE.
During our daily walks the horse and the donkey are free to choose the position within the group. Often we alternate, who walks ahead, who stops to graze, those who remain behind. The position in the dynamics of the group while we move to regular places, has nothing to do with the fact who leads and who follows. In all these years that I move with them at liberty, I made the experience, that I as the responsible for the our small herd, can safely walk behind them. To put my position to the test, it is sufficient to change direction and they do it almost instantly with me, observing me only with the corner of the eye. Also the fact that they stop at a crossroads to await an indication of direction, confirms my idea, that the leader should not be necessarily walking as first .

Almost all the videos are outside without fences, the others are playing in the paddock. We do this since 3 years almost every day. It has become a habit. There are more people than you think walking with their horses free. )))
