Hello,I have a bamboo hedge which is host to a leafless, rootless parasitic plant called the 'cuscuta' and also known as the vampire plant.Incredible specie which can only be kept in check with fire and nothing else,in my opinion.I wouldn't be surprised if this plant proves to be a 'living biological key' to the quest of longevity and other riddles of life.
