Agricoltura, Boniface Mwangi: The day I stood up alone
agricoltura | info | prezzo | dati | produzione
Photographer Boniface Mwangi wanted to protest against corruption in his home country of Kenya. So he made a plan: He and some friends would stand up and heckle during a public mass meeting. But when the moment came ... he stood alone. What happened next, he says, showed him who he truly was. As he says, "There are two most powerful days in your life. The day you are born, and the day you discover why." Graphic images.

Bonny, if we had just a qurter of the Kenyan population with that kind of attitude towards the human race (Kenya), believe you me Kenya would be an exemplary Country not only to African Continent but to the larger World, Gods support is enough though you do not need a multitude of cowards, Keep up the noble mission.

Hello Boniface. As your fellow countryman, I must commend you for standing up in the face of adversity, wanton robbery and oppression in our country. And yet it continues. The gluttons eat ever more. Today, corruption is no longer the preserve of the ruling party elite, but as leadership has been devolved, so has corruption. This is not to say that devolution is inherently bad, it is the handling of the same that is the problem
Post Script: Did anyone notice that guy at 5.53 reading a newspaper without pants?!
-
Boniface, you are a beacon to people around the world and a gentle man of steel.
thank you for the wake up call to the "smart cowards," which included me, too for decades.

this guy is one of the heroes

What an amazing story. You're inspiring many and all Kenyans need to stand firm against injustice!
-
'I showed up at stadium, my friends did not show up', powerful statement. Everyone has that one moment when you stand alone and you come face to face with a decision of how far you are willing to go for your dream. That's one of the most powerful moments in any life.
-
Congratulations Bony you are real,a real journalist and remember a strong man is he who stands alone#YouAreAsmartCoward
-
You're still a coward for rising against your own Nation . Congratulations by the way for impressing your pay masters.Kenya will still move forward despite all the challenges we're facing.Daima Mkenya!!
