My car's going into the shop in the morning, but I think this is what is happening. The car jumps like that with the loud sound whenever I start it up and it's totally smooth in reverse but in drive it vibrates really badly and is super loud right now.
-
What would be the problem if my car bounces when given gas in first gear and after it shifts it will stop and ride smooth. I don't know what it is
-
Very informative and to the point. I am concerned that Chris is driving below a half a tank of gas in the winter. Just sayin.

Oh no, it's one of those guys that when you post a comment you might hear back after 6 months, oh no. Maybe someone else will comment.

I just put a new engine in my 89 Grand Am and I think it vibrates just after you start it. The motor and tranny are right next to each other between the front wheels so what do you think? I hooked the new engine to the old tranny. Drives like a tank.

Hi Chris Fix. I drive a '06 swift G13BB. The reverse gear does not slot well. I have to try 2-3 times to properly slot it and when it does, the car jerks even when the clutch pedal is depressed completely . Your views? Thanks in advance!

hey chris I know this is a old vid but my truck shakes around the same rpm but only if my clutch is engaged if the clutch is disengage it stops I just rebuilt my front end and u joints in drive shaft new clutch and redone flywheel about 1000 miles after rebuild on what I just mentioned could this be a miss fire and my rpms will jump a little as if it has more fuel in a cylinder do to a misfire should I check for a misfire or something else?

does a defective transmission mount make a clacking sound while turning in reverse?
-
Save money and live with the vibration or buy another car!
-
would a bad mount make banging noises? kinda sounds like 2 thick pieces of metal banging against each other. even on smooth roads. the sound is almost constant. 2 of my mounts on the passenger side, under the car and right under the hood. I already replaces the 1 under the car (which was actually a torque strut mount) but I'm suspecting the 1 under the hood. I looked at it and the bushing is cracked a bit. I have noticed shifting has become hard and makes noises and the more car vibration while idleing
-
what if you are sitting at a light and it's vibrating??
-
dos the car jerk hard when u put in drive is bad motor mounts
-
Um you mean it steers to the right??
-

Good, clear and useful video. I'm having all 3 mounts replaced right now at the time of this comment. I was experiencing the exact mentioned symptoms.

I have a 07 Dodge Charger and the motor shakes once I stop at a red light or when the car is parked
