Cool video. I just planted my potatoes and they've sprouted 6 tubers from just two seeders. Was kind of a surprise as I didn't think that they'd grow.

I planted some organic potatoes from the store that had sprouted, I hope they grow. I figured it was worth a try :)

How long can you store potatoes on average after harvest?

Need help with my potato planting. Forgot to write down my planting date! It was, I think, the latter part of Feb. I have had a few plants here and there that have wilted and died back to the ground. The base of the plant looks to have rotten. The plants had some flowers a few weeks ago. Are they ready to dig, or is something causing a few random plants to die off? We have had no rain, but I do a light water every morning, and the plants are mulched with straw. I have had a lot of potato failure in the past. But after textbook trenching, I'm feeling good about this years good looking plants. Now, I am nervous though and not sure when to dig. Any suggestions?

I ordered my seed potatoes from a company that would not send them until April. Same with my trees. Anyway... A little frustrating. Is it too late to plant my potatoes? I live in your area. thank you for the video, it was helpful.
