It's a non-profit project, based on the videogame saga Metal Gear Solid, created by Hideo Kojima and published by Konami. Driven by our passion for cinema, new technologies and Hideo Kojima's work, the aim of this project is to prove that a full-length sci-fi feature, of professional standards and with the minimum of resources, is still achievable by the hardiest amongst us. (now with correct audio)

all I want is for Kojima to come back and make Mgs6 or remake all of the MGS games on the new engine and it be in logical order, like even the old 2d games, make them 3d and it would be the best thing ever

I'm amazed this film isn't more well known . it's great ! I especially love the actor playing Snake . He's got real respect for his role .

I take time to see that movie, I was like no budget silly little project, but actually visually speaking is amazing, lot of actions, you make a good job on the characters and could totally fit with some spin-off metal gear solid project. I like how you play with Philanthropy I think it's something they don't show/talk enough in the games and it's could have been nice to see what Snake made between the games with Philanthropy, seriously, good job!

Got an idea, instead of tossing the entire idea of Philanthropy, why not try to make it into it's own thing, separate from Metal Gear? Like similar plot but original source material, that way the story can be told, and you can avoid Konami bullshit

its sad that there is a fan made movie about the most important group in metal gear universe: Philanthropy (which was The boss's true vision) and Snake's one of the important stages of his life and not an official videogame about it.
