The Kipon M42 to Fuji X also has a removable center ring. I have three different Kipon adapters, and they're nice, but they're not cheap at $57 dollars a pop. https://www.adorama.com/kafjxpxs.html?gclid=CLycqfO8w9ECFU1qfgodqyAAKQ

Yep, quick shipment..

I took your advice again Ken, Ive just ordered the Takumar 135mm F3.5. Is the Carl Zeiss 50mm Pancolar F1.8 any good or would you recommend sticking with the Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm F2.8?
-
looks like you raised popularity of K&F adapters, and they are almost double price now :/
-
Ken I have a couple of these adapters, one fotasy and another no-name. One thing I have noticed is that on both, with a lens mounted, there is a .5mm gap between the flanges. This implies to me that the lens is just being supported by the threads. Can you confirm if this is the case with your adapters? If what I'm describing doesn't make sense I will post a photo. Thx for your videos.

Does it maintain infinity?

Hi Ken, have you a recommendation for Nikon users? I did a search and find only this very thin adapters..
-
Ken, excellent recommendation. I use this on my 200mm F4 Super Takumar. Brilliant stuff.
-
please put a link for nikon
-
That's the one I got. :) And I've gotten several items from Rainbow Imaging on both Ebay and Amazon. No problems thus far!
-
Got the K&F Concepts adapter, same concept with removable plate but twice the price
-
This looks exactly like the K&F mount (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00L7EHLOQ/). Could it just be white-label stuff made in the same factory? Anyway, my Nikon F > Fuji X adapter from K&F works great and it's also very cheap, albeit not as cheap as the one in the video.

I've never used an adapter before. Will the Pentax Takumar 300mm F4 work with this adapter? It not only has a pin but a couple of rectangular protrusions. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pentax-S-M-C-Super-Multi-Coated-SMC-TAKUMAR-300mm-f-4-M42-TESTED-case-Exc-/132049569468?hash=item1ebec486bc:g:l-UAAMXQ8ABRjga-

hey Ken, I bought a few of these adapters, and got a Pentacon 50 1.8 per your recommendations, everything I've seen says this lens is googly awesome. question, any suggestions for the m42 for a macro MF unit, or are we better served with a Nikkor type lens? thanks for your videos dude, they are the tits, lol

but if you can afford one, get a helicoid adapter for bonus closer focusing
-
170$ for a 20mm f3.5 mint condition is a good deal ?
-
How about a m42 to nikon adapter?

Question : how to set the proper aperture/speed couple ? considering that light is measured with maximum aperture and aperture is not changed by the the D700 when shooting . I am usually using Aperture priority mode but in Manual mode I am not able to set the aperture on the D700 . ( I hope my question is clear enough ? ) thanks for your help daniel from france
