I remember reading a story similar to tom tit tot except it was rumplestillskin and if the woman didn't guess his name then he wud take her baby
-
LoL the third one is really fairy tale?
-
not true... we give them hope, help them building their minds, imagination and intelligence... and prepare them for the future.
-
lol

I like the variant reading where That cries out "Some witch told you that!" and he stomps his foot so hard it goes into the floor. Then, struggling to free his wicked self, he tears his body in two. Gruesome but interesting. Folk lore is fascinating in that there are seemingly endless variants as the tales are told all over the world. Great channel!

In Estonia there is a similar tale for Tom Tit Tot, but different characters.A builder who is willing to build a church for free,if they could guess his name or pay an huge amount of gold. All builders who came before him had lousy skills.Mayor had to guess the name before the church was completed but one day, someone followed him home and heard his name from his wife.During building, mayor yelled:Do not fall Oleviste. The man then fell from the scaffolding and died. The church was named after him.
