Carthage isn't an european nation. It's not because they have had a great civilisatioin that they must belong to the european race. That's too silly !!

Caesar wouln't have said Moron. He would have said But I can have you killed on the spot more easily than cal you a Moron. Obviously you are no threat to even a real Moron. You moron.

I too have litle regard for omens, but the shepherd most definitely did impromtuly play the "charge", if for any reason I too have fallen under the spell of similar omentous occurences, from time to time. And look. I'm still alive! Occasionally, when traffic blocks my way I imagine had it not I might have died in an accident I'll never experience. Once, a young man went through a STOP sign & hit the front of my car, driving it under the house on that corner.Something happened to delay me by20mS?

You must have been very late!

Yes maybe, but whereforth art thou "Caesar", Julius? Julius without Caesar is just the rags called Julius. But Caesar with the garments of Julius maketh the man.
-
Now at the end of chapter 2, I'm bristling with anticipation to lean the particulars of how Caesar GOT into debt.On what piece of paper do debts appear & in what court do debts find their order for repayment & what FORCE enforces same orders? & how did Caesar et al secure titles to property (land etc) in those days? For surely weasels could occupy anyones house like in Wind in the Willows (reToady) if there is no Sherif & taxes to pay the Sherif? Now I'm about to finally understand how it WORKED!

Apology for "LoveLife's" rude reply. There are 1000s of hours of audiobooks (books read out loud) on the Web. Audio books great to learn fascinating history or hear spellbinding fiction stories, for those who might not have good reading skills. Also great to listen during travel. Many use audio books at bedtime, with the story voice inducing sleep. This particular uploader includes the book's text, which is rare for audio books. Most just show 1 photo or a black screen.
