Pero no todo lo que brilla es oro: el boom sojero es fuente de nuevas y grandes riquezas para unos pocos y causa de pobreza y desarraigo para muchos. La expansión de la frontera agropecuaria ha puesto en una situación crítica la tenencia de las tierras por parte de los campesinos que trabajan y ocupan legítimamente esas tierras... Esta es la lucha del Movimiento Campesino de Córdoba.
Argentina is the second biggest producer of soya in the world. This crop occupies 55% of the area agriculturally used and generates almost 30% of the foreign currency inflows into this country through its international sales.
But not everything that glitters is made of gold: The soya boom is the source of new and massive wealth for a minority while at the same time causing poverty and uprootedness for a great number of people. The expansion of the agricultural border has put the possession of land by farmers who work and legitimately live on these grounds at danger... This film sensitively portraits the fight of the Farmers' movement of Cordoba.
