not bad considering!!!!!

I just wish people would stop using the Apollo missions as an example of great achievement in the face of insurmountable odds against success. Why? Because we can't fake our way out of global climate change.
-
"The will to act is itself a renewable resource"-- Great speech sir.Hands down!! I really wished someone like you would grace the white house instead of your businessman partymate.

Carbon dioxide causing global warming is an easily provable hoax, because water vapor is approximately 1, 000X the green house gas that Co2 is. Since water vapor accounts for entire percentages of what is in the atmosphere, the fractional percentage point of Co2 is meaningless. That alone proves the global warming meme to be a pure fabrication.

Forget it Al. Americans hate facts.

Please sign this petition for Meltdown proof LFTR reactors. This reactor can make the need for fossil fuels obsolete within 10 years and here's the kicker, it consumes nuclear waste! https://www.change.org/p/to-nuclear-regulatory-commission-department-of-energy-to-grant-licenses-for-meltdown-proof-liquid-fluoride-thorium-reactors-to-reduce-the-impact-of-climate-change-reduce-nuclear-waste-and-produce-leukemia-fighting-isotopes

Great inspiring Speech! I am all for renewables to solve the climate change and very optimistic that we can solve it but a major doubt creeps in- mainly due to the fact that he didnot even provide an option of reducing Animal Agriculture Industries. I highly doubt we can solve climate change by only focusing on Renewable Energy and leaving out Animal Agriculture. It really sounds hypocritical from him, which is not to undermine the works that he has done for advocating for lowering carbon footprints. I believe it be even more appealing and convincing, if he would always try to mention it. Well no doubt he is fully aware of it, but I fail to understand the reason behind his silence when the idiotically simple truth is right infront of our face.

He just explained something very basic about humans.
We are an adaptable species with an extraordinary capacity to find solutions to its problem in order to survivre.
I have great confidence in our capacities to fix this.

Gore is a politician. he was part of the problem. past tense. by portraying Climate Change as Cause and Effect... like a magician misdirects where you are looking.... and not keeping the focus on it as Accumulation with a 10 to 40 year delay... which allowed all of us to grasp at the thought if it ain't too bad so far.. and it ain't so far..... why risk not only our economies, but the very fabric of our society in a world where, using just one instance of it, for at least one generation we no longer marry the girl next door or in the next village but someone maybe even from another continent... and why that is.. as well as what the number one growth thing for many countries now is.. tourism... meaning aviation... not to dwell on it alone too much but it's a good one we can 'get'.... but along with all of the rest of it... may already be too late to go back on because... there is a 10 to 40 year delay between emissions and full on climate effect (due to the oceans, mostly, yes?) which means that when the curtain is pulled back.. it will be all too obvious it's way too late on the emissions side... which is why the Paris agreement is about geoengineering... plus a necessary measure of bs on the emissions side of the equation. but Al Gore's movie didn't emphasize the 10/40 delay not at least enough to really remember it.. but it is the key problem.... he gave us the accumulation part... in a chart.. but that same chart can easily be mistaken or re-remembered as an emissions chart... not accumulation... with the 10/40 delay .... that was his trick, or failure, intentionally or not... nor is it as heavily weighted as it should be in his new found Optimism... because he was way too optimistic even in his 2005 movie.... and all of this just happens to coincide with a major US election cycle??? hmmmmm......

@Kael7777 You've added much thought to this discourse, certainly comments worthy of a reasoned response. I pray you, good sir, let me sit with your wit and measure an appropriate retort.

Answer me this Big Al: If there is climate change (aka global warming), and ocean levels due to polar ice caps melting will rise causing cities like NYC and Miami to flood by 2005, how come you invested in beach front property? This proves that climate change is a scam!!
