Im sorry, but I mistook her name for Templar Grandmaster. Too much Assassin's Creed.
-
Temple Grandin for President :D
-
she speaks better than I do, am i severely autistic?
-
As an aspie, seeing the movie about her was truly inspiring. Temple is a true gem of a person.
-
I am the father of 3yr old autistic twins, and this video gives me hope for what otherwise feels like a life long death sentence.

-
idk y im here XDDDD

This is very interesting! Temple Grandin is my hero! Being autistic myself, I too see in pictures. That's the reason why I like reading comic books and graphic novels. It also comes in handy whenever I write my stories, I see the characters, the plot, the location, all of these in pictures in my head.
-
She is awesome!
-
Ohhh I have Autism, therefore I know how to kill animals and it's OK because I have Autism and wear Western clothing.....
-
Because Temple Grandin is the type of person who categorizes everything and thinks about everything as being very separate from one another, I wonder what she thinks about the whole concept of self-identity such as a person born a male calling himself a woman or vice versa. Not just gender. Any sort of self-identification or theoretical or abstract concept.
-
I can definitely see what Temple Grandin is saying because I'm a person on the autism spectrum and I won't even get interested in something if it does not look interesting to me but if it does I will get interested into it!
-
why Claire Danes? ugh.
coulda been a great movie.
-
Temple Grandin is awesome.
-
Here's what may sound like a stupid question: Can an autistic woman publicly speak without stage fright and travel transcontinentally on a semi-regular basis?
-
We need more people like this and Graham Hancock to speak at TED.
-
I found myself, rather surprisingly, annoyed with this speech
As an autistic I expected to agree with...everything
But while the speech says the world needs all kinds of minds...she doesn't seem to realize that herself at times
Yes, she mentions the different type of minds that we may have...but kinda gives lip service to autistic minds not her own
She also ends with giving that step by step of what age she did what at and...that's nice, but it isn't for every one of us, and she seems to frame it like that's the case, something that really bugs me
Each of us have our own way...
" I'm seeing too many of these smart kids who haven't learned basic things, like how to be on time."
I have extreme executive dysfunction and ADHD...keeping on time is nigh-impossible...and shaming those who don't have "basic skills" whatever you think that is is hardly inclusive...but yeah...problems
Speaking of inclusivity, here's a link to the transcript if you want it
