This is so fantastically full of magnificent quotes!!!

just a side note, life expectancy stats were not very reliable (according to most of my history professors anyway) because they include people who died and infancy and childhood, and even childbirth. typically if you made it to 20-25 you'd probably live a pretty long life, maybe 60-70. still, 80 is impressive.

This series is so well done. What an excellent resource!

Thank you gorgeous

Thank you so much for this! <3 <3 <3

It took me three days to finally finish watching this third installment in your series. After numerous annoying interruptions I got through the entirety. Once again you've created an exhaustive and exacting mini-documentary, the quality of which is more than just noteworthy, it is outstanding. If I were wealthy, which I'm not, I'd fund your efforts well into the future. However, I can offer a suggestion which may help you fund your future work. If you've not already done so perhaps you could look into setting up a non-profit charitable educational corporation. This would allow you to accept tax deductible donations. Your work is so good it needs to find a stable reliable platform. Vegan education is critically important, today more than ever. The broad sweep of connections between our vegan lifestyles and the many social, environmental and even economic issues is vast and has an international scope. You have clearly demonstrated consistently that you have the talent and drive to make these issues visible in a manner which is non-threatening. This ability is, of and by itself uniquely suited to make those very necessary connections clear enough for everyone to see and understand. If then such understanding stimulates empathy, and then action, much can be accomplished. However, as noted before, to accomplish any of that requires more than just a good heart, dedication and tireless effort. It would require practical realistic support, and perhaps the assistance of others with a like mind.

great job, indeed! being a "grass eater" as my dear mother still calls it, for 27 years now, i've been called a freak, idiot, pussy (for mentioning compassion as main reason) and everything else imaginable (and then some), i've heard all the accusations, excuses and prognosis from "you'll get sick" to "you'll die soon" even from doctors. i find that meat eaters hate hearing the names of historic figures, which promoted vegetarianism, they usually ignore my personal experience of curing rheumatism by means of vegan diet, but they all shut up on mentioning the equipment of human body to process meat, namely the teeth, the length of intestines, specific bacteria and acids and so on... also, serving philosophy to a carnivore does not work, but olympic achievements and sports in general resonates with them quite deeply. i believe that helping others to stop eating dead animals is the highest possible (and perhaps the hardest) achievement, a person can do in our short lifetime. keep up the good work!

Are you going to continue this series?

I had to do a presentation on Vivisection and dissection in Ancient medicine last week and it was such a struggle to learn about Galen and all the other guys that used to cut up live animals for 'entertainment' ugh seriously a tough subject to learn about.

Going along with some of the philosophers with a Christian background- what if the "forbidden fruit" transcended its literal and typical metaphor (which is sin), and instead symbolized another sentient being? As Eve and Adam stole this fruit (or animal rather) it symbolized man's inclination for wrongdoing... and in turn relates all violence to sin. Also, they never attempt to kill the metaphorical devil, which is a literal sentient being in the text... this strikes me as odd considering how if humans were naturally violent, they would seek revenge. I realize that this is REALLY far fetched for a multitude of reasons, including that many people- including myself- don't particularly believe in the stories of the Christian bible (or the Hebrew torah, since this was in the book of genesis). Yet from a philosophical stand point, I believe that there is much more to the story of the Forbidden Fruit than religiously translated.

I love this series! so well done.
