Hawaii is a melting pot of different cultures and downtown, Honolulu is where you'll find some of the best examples of this. Subscribe for more videos! http://goo.gl/18SB8p
Today I'll take you on a quick tour of some of my favorite spots including Chinatown and my favorite restaurant, The Pig and the Lady, which serves Vietnamese-inspired cuisine in a modern eclectic setting.

-
i love those boom bap beats you put on your videos sometimes
-
How many times have you been told that you look like Jackie Chan?
-
lived in Hawaii all my life, but I never got a chance to see Chinatown as you just did. Thank You for the tour. However, I still wouldn't go there because of the danger element that still exists in Downtown Honolulu.
-
I MISS HAWAII !!! :(
-
Actually, I really like the music only audio format. Maybe you should try it again at some point :)
-
I was there one year ago and the absolute biggest surprise was the dearth of people walking around on a Sunday. I was shocked as I tend to compare whichever Chinatown I'm at with either Yokohama Chinatown or San Francisco Chinatown. Actually, I walked from there to my hotel near Honolulu Zoo. >.< Long walk on a hot day.
On the plus side, there are enough Asian markets there to keep people happy with shopping for food. Oh, I walked by the Pig and Lady but felt weird about dining there because I was travelling alone. :(

China town has a fantastic DimSum place, went there a couple of years ago and still remember the flavor. Oahu has some of the most interesting and delicious places to eat. Though here in Minnesota I like going to the Hmong market especially the food court always good food and great Pho plus atmosphere is nice, and the price's are great.
-
I love P&L! It's my favorite restaurant in Hawaii and actually went there twice last week.
-
the food looks amazing
-
I recently just stumbled upon your videos, I hope you keep producing them!!! I feel like they transport me to distant lands that I hope to one day visit. (ETA: bubble is the physical shaking of the tea to make bubbles, boba is the tapioca balls ;-) )
-
Love the Music! and the titles for your sampling!
-

Oh man! I haven't been to Chinatown in so long and it does look like it cleaned up quite a bit! Definitely have to check out The Pig and the Lady next time I visit Oahu. That food looked incredible! Wonderful video guys, as always! :D <3
-
happy to see you post this! i've been watching you guys and love everything you've recorded so far!
bonus points we're both from the rock! before finding P&L's restaurant did you get to experience their Pho at the Stadium or Kailua Famers market?
-
Stuff happens! I think it turned out fine!
-
Maybe the two of you can do a cooking competition? Decide on a main ingredient to use and cook your way :D I think it will be interesting to see you guys compete (in a fun way).
